Mickey Magennis, hailing from Belfast in the north of Ireland, has been immersed in the world of music since a young age. Born with a passion for melodies and a gift for songwriting, Mickey embarked on his musical journey at the tender age of 12, developing a repertoire that would later resonate with audiences worldwide.

Fueled by an insatiable wanderlust, Mickey set out to explore the globe at just 16 years old, sharing his musical talents across continents. In pursuit of his musical aspirations, Mickey pursued higher education, earning a Bachelor of Music Honors degree at Carleton University in Ottawa. Alongside his academic endeavors, he nurtured his entrepreneurial spirit by establishing successful guitar teaching businesses, namely the Ottawa Guitar Studio and the Guitar Onset Online Course, fostering the next generation of aspiring musicians.
